I was going through some old photos the other day when I came across this that I created when some of the members (including myself), of the local sling meet did the Race for Life
Cis a lively Facebook Group of lovely women and babies with an interest in cloth bumming and baby wearing. I say an interest but it could be called an addiction really, I am scared to count how many cloth nappies and wraps passed through my house in the last 3 years.

Even as a Doula I cannot resist buying the odd wrap or 2 still – just in case a client needs (another) one.
We decided as a group to fundraise for Race for Life, as so many of us and our families have been touched by breast and other forms of cancer. I won’t say we ran the race, was more a gentle stroll. We had fun and friendships were deepened and formed.
It was a glorious day. Little did we know how life would change for those of us on the walk. There have been more babies, more people touched by cancer, house moves, life changes and more change as one of us leaves for pastures new.

I Miss Baby Wearing so much. It is an beautiful way to hold your child close to your heart and be hands free for your other children. My smallest has refused to be wrapped since he was 3, although I managed to sneak him into a Madame Googoo Toddler Carrier at Faery Fest this weekend).
