It is suitable for everyone – complete beginners through and we often have people who have never been to anything similar before.
Even if you think you can’t do it – you can come along and listen – my blog “Breaking The Shackles – One Song At A Time” – talks about the journey of breaking free of the “Not Good Enough” voices.
The centre is fully accessible with suitable toilets and a large car park. The meet follows the format of a drum, chant and social. The circle has a donation of £5 but no-one is ever turned away on cost – if you can’t afford it we would rather have you with us than not. All funds generated are returned to the circle for candles, incense, instruments, fairy lights or the last circle saw a small donation to the local food bank.
7-9 pm Drum and Chat,
9-10 pm social – bring a snack to share if you like, (please take left overs home).
We are there setting up from 6.30 pm.
For us a community is made up of the members and we welcome all input. If you have an idea – throw it into the mixing pot.
Drumming and chanting comes from the heart, raising the spirits within and without. We do not proclaim to be the best drummers or the best chanters there will be people who come to circle who can do both better and we absolutely welcome that.
We aim to create a space for everyone to shine or sit and listen as they chose.
